Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Tracy, California.
**Job Description:**
As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their communication goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive school environment while making a positive impact on the lives of children.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress reports, and other documentation
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
