Blazerjobs is currently seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for an extended school year assignment in Pottstown, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students and make a positive impact on their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to support students' academic and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' individualized education plans
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid PA SLP State License
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs
