Job Description: VocoVision is very excited to welcome a dedicated Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to our team! In this role, you will work with educators, students, and parents in a virtual setting to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic success and overall well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders among students.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide virtual sessions using evidence-based practices to support students' speech, language, and social communication skills.
- Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with the IEP team to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual education team.
