Virtual School-Based Social Worker Full Time in Michigan
VocoVision is committed to providing quality and intentional educational support to students in Michigan. We are currently seeking an empathetic and driven School-Based Social Worker to join our network on a full-time basis under an independent contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to identify students in need of social and emotional support.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students.
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Offer resources and referrals to external agencies and organizations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program preferred, but will accept BSW.
- PEL, ISBE approved school Social Worker
- 310 Required
- Experience working with IEPs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
- Knowledge of Michigans educational and social service systems is a plus.
