Teletherapy Job Opening: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Virginia License Required

Are you a Speech Language Pathologist licensed in Virginia? Are you looking for a full-time position working with students? Do you have 2+ years of onsite school experience or 7+ years of working with pediatric patients?

We are searching for a candidate like you! This is a completely remote position working with a school district in Arlington, VA who is utilizing remote services. 

Job Description:

• 40 hours per week
  • Candidates are expected to be able to work during the school day
• PreK-5th grade Caseload
• Caseload includes: Artic, language, ASD
• SLP will do assessments and evaluations
• Responsible for developing goals and corresponding IEPs
• Provide direct therapy services
• Remote participation in IEP meetings

Requirements:

• Virginia SLP license
• 2+ years of onsite school experience 
  • If you have 7+ years of pediatric experience you will be able to go through a clinical competency test
• Able to pass the Technology Requirements below

Technology Requirements:

• Must have a computer that is less than 5 years old 
• Must have a working web camera
• Must have high-speed internet capabilities
• Candidates must go through a short tech-screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with teletherapy is preferred
• Tech-savvy
• Organized and patient
• Skilled at building rapport
