Speech-Language Pathologist

A local Oxnard school district is seeking to hire an exceptional SLP for the 22/23 school year - the SLP will work to assess, provide direct instruction, and provide world-class services to our wonderful students with speech, language, and social impairments, working 35 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Licensed by the California state board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • ASHA CCC
  • Valid Driver's License


CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

The key responsibilities of this job include conducting screenings, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with students having known or suspected communication disorders, interpreting assessment data, and planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment interventions according to student IEPs. Our district expects SLPs to maintain and organize their data, documentation, and progress reports, as well as regularly attend and collaborate harmoniously within IEP meetings. SLPs must work in compliance with state and federal law at all times. 

PAY: The pay for this position is negotiable and based on experience level, and paid via W2 direct deposit. You will be compensated for all hours worked, including indirect hours spent on documentation, IEP meetings, etc.
