Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Near Frankfort, Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 Hours per Week
Duration: March - June (Contract Position)
Compensation: $45 - $60 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team near Frankfort, IL, for a short-term position from March through June. This role is perfect for SLPs who excel in helping students improve their communication skills in a collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with students, parents, and staff to create individualized plans and provide targeted interventions to meet each student’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals.
- Provide direct services and monitor progress across a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license.
- IDFPR license and an ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required.
- Experience with school-aged children preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
