Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Maricopa, Arizona and Surrounding Areas
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an opportunity to support students in their communication development? Soliant is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Maricopa, AZ and surrounding areas. In this role, you will work directly with students in educational settings, providing assessment, therapy, and support for speech and language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' progress and educational needs
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
