Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based Role in Sidney, OH
Position Overview:
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in Sidney, OH! This school-based role will allow you to make a direct impact on students’ communication abilities in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are looking for a compassionate professional ready to collaborate with educators and parents to ensure each student thrives academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and parents to integrate speech therapy into the school setting.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure goals are met.
- Lead educational workshops for staff and families on speech and language development strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized learning goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Ohio State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working with students of diverse needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary school environment.
