Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an esteemed school district near San Jose, California. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and focusing on serving a middle school caseload. The role presents a rewarding opportunity to contribute to students' speech and language development within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and communication disorders
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students within the middle school setting
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress and ensure therapy goals align with educational objectives
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress reports, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Customize therapy techniques and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students within the middle school caseload
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Prior experience or a strong interest in working with middle school-aged children in an educational setting
- Availability to work full-time, dedicating 40 hours per week to the role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Passion and dedication to positively contribute to students' speech and language development
- Ability to manage a middle school caseload and adapt to varying student needs effectively
