About the Position: As an SLP in Monroe, GA, you'll play a pivotal role in assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in our school community. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support student success and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification in Georgia.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Dedication to supporting students' speech and language development.
