Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Milton, FL. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a school-based setting. You will help students improve their speech, language, and communication abilities, promoting their overall academic success and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs of students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet student needs and IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to track student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and student progress.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and incorporate new strategies into therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida State Licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
