Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Position - Portsmouth, VA
Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district near Portsmouth, VA. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a qualified professional looking to contribute to the success of Pre K and elementary school students, managing a caseload of 40 with a focus on supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Work full-time, providing speech and language therapy services to Pre K and elementary school students.
- Manage a caseload of 40 students, tailoring services to meet individualized needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address students' speech and language needs.
- Participate in and contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40 students effectively.
- Experience with IEP meetings and a strong understanding of the IEP process.
