2022-2023 School Speech Therapist: Contract Position

Normal is a small town in McLean Country and was originally North Bloomington until 1865. Although a small town Normal is undergoing transformation and rebranding starting with its downtown. 

Assignment Details:

• Evaluations, Therapy, IEP meetings
• Caseload:
  • Middle School age
  • 45 students
• Employment Type:
  • Full-Time 
  • Hours: 8 am - 4pm
  • Full school year
  • Onsite
• In district mentor provided

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Speech Language Pathologist License (IL)
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations.
• Assess and diagnose speech, voice, hearing and language impairments.
• Create individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication.
