Job Description
Soliant is actively seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a vibrant school district in Dallas, TX. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact students' lives by supporting their speech and language development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities
- Deliver speech therapy services following IEP plans designed by the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to meet students' needs.
- Track and document student progress and performance.
- Assist in preparing materials and therapy activities.
- Maintain open communication with the supervising SLP for any updates or modifications in therapy plans.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or related field.
- Valid Texas SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs in a school environment.
