Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students in a primary school setting. This is an onsite position with a caseload of approximately 80 students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess individual student needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement individualized therapy plans to help students improve their communication skills, including speech, language, voice, and fluency.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Alabama State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with primary school students in a school setting.
- Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of speech-language pathology principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
