Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the upcoming school year. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and has a desire to grow in the field of speech-language pathology.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the SLP with assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by the SLP
- Conducting therapy sessions with students in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with other members of the educational team, parents, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and treatment outcomes
- Documenting student progress and treatment plans in accordance with district and state guidelines
