Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Orland Park, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves working with a caseload of 35 Kindergarten to 1st grade students at one elementary school. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality speech and language therapy services and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- IL Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
