A San Francisco-based K-12 school is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) licensed in California to provide support for the current school year. This contract role requires onsite presence and offers an opportunity to contribute directly to student speech and language development in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting licensed speech-language pathologists with therapy sessions and program implementation
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Supporting individualized education plans (IEPs) related to speech and language goals
- Collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to optimize student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license is mandatory
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite and engage effectively with a multidisciplinary team
