This position seeks a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support speech therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Raeford, NC. This full-time contract role is available for the current school year, providing assistance to the lead Speech Language Pathologist on-site across multiple school locations, including elementary, middle, or high schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Speech Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language therapy services to students.
- Work collaboratively across multiple school sites to manage caseloads effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist with therapy documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate with educators and families as needed.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations regarding speech therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) is required.
- Experience working with students from diverse age groups in school environments.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly.
