School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Opening
Location: Portland, Oregon
School Year: August 13, 2025 – June 12, 2026
ProCare Therapy is working with a district near Portland to hire a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This is a great opportunity for a COTA looking to make an impact while working with strong onsite OT support.
Position Details:

Part-time | 20 hours per week (.5 FTE)

Contract: Full school year (
8/13/25 – 6/12/26
) -
Caseload: ~50 students
-
Grade levels: K–21, with a mix of elementary, secondary, and transition-aged students
-
School sites: 1–2 locations (assignments to be confirmed with district)
-
Onsite collaboration with 2 experienced OTs for supervision and support
-
Responsibilities: Implement treatment plans, assist with evaluations, support IEP goals, track progress, and collaborate with teachers/staff
Qualifications:
-
Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
-
Active Oregon COTA License (or willingness to obtain before start date)
-
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required

Strong communication and teamwork skills
