Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Support students’ communication development through direct intervention and classroom collaboration.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Manage a variable caseload across two school locations.
- Provide services during school hours from 8:15 AM to 3:25 PM.
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant certification or experience as a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) in a school setting.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (PreK to 4th grade).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work between two school locations.
Schedule and Work Arrangement:
- Part-time schedule preferred, with availability of 2 to 3 days per week.
- Full-time options available and open to discussion based on candidate preference.
- Contract position for the current school year (CSY).
