Speech Therapist Assistant in Pasadena, MD
Step into an engaging school-based opportunity supporting students in PreK through 5th grade as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. Collaborate with educators and families in the Baltimore area while offering services directly on-site at two welcoming elementary schools, where your impact will be immediately felt. This full-time, contract position runs from mid-February to the end of May—with the potential to extend for four weeks into the summer.
Your schedule will balance your expertise across two campuses: Magnolia Elementary (three days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (two days per week), for a total of 37.5 hours each week.
What We Seek:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Ability to provide verification images of required credentials
- Comfort serving a caseload spanning PreK to 5th grade students
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Proficiency collaborating within a multidisciplinary education team
- Willingness to complete background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review in compliance with state regulations
In this hands-on role, you’ll:
- Deliver therapy services and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work across two elementary schools, cycling between campuses each week
- Collect and document data to communicate student progress
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing training
- Contribute creative, compassionate care that empowers students’ communication skills
Interviews will be held on April 27—reach out with your availability for a prescreen between 9–11 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. EST. This position provides steady hours, diverse experiences, and the chance to extend into the summer term.
