Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all local and state certification and licensing requirements, including but not limited to:

Valid Texas State License for Speech Language Pathology
-
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
-
Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Fingerprint Clearance or equivalent background check
-
Compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards for school-based service providers
-
Current CPR Certification
-
TB Clearance or other health screenings as required by school district
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
-
Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver targeted therapy services aligned with IEP goals
-
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies and state regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations to support student needs
-
Provide consultation and training to staff and families as needed
