Travel Speech Therapy Assistant in Corydon, IN
A part-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Corydon, IN area, serving K–12 students with direct, hands-on therapy in a school setting. This role involves a 15-20 hour per week commitment, with potential openings for full-time professionals as well. The position supports a caseload of approximately 25 students, all with low-functioning levels, requiring targeted intervention and assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
- Conduct assessments and testing to evaluate student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana SLP license and Department of Education certification, or
- Valid Indiana SLPA license
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably with low-functioning caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with families and educators
This position is based at a South Harrison school and requires in-person attendance. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2026, with a strong possibility for renewal the following year.
