Support students' communication development as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic K-12 school environment located in San Bernardino, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language therapy under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist.
- Assist in evaluating students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Adapt therapy materials and activities to meet students' diverse needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-focused interventions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
