A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the current school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Arvada, CO. This contract role will begin on January 7, 2026, and conclude on May 21, 2026, working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. The assignment involves working onsite at one school, Harmony Ridge P-8, serving students across the K-8 age range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in a school environment
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans for school-aged children
- Collaborate closely with supervising speech-language pathologists who will oversee caseload management
- Conduct direct therapy sessions under supervision and maintain detailed documentation
- Participate fully in onsite duties; this role does not allow for virtual or hybrid work arrangements
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification as an SLPA
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite in a school setting
- Commitment to working under district supervision and adhering to school policies
