A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available on a contract basis at a middle school located in Yucaipa, CA. This role requires providing therapy services for students with speech and language impairments, working approximately 6 hours per day from ASAP through the end of the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments in school settings
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services to a middle school caseload
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participating in meetings related to student goals and services
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Eligibility or current status as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or fully licensed SLP
- Experience working in school settings with middle school students
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational environment
