A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 2025. This full-semester contract role is based in an elementary school setting serving PreK through 1st-grade students. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential summer hours also available. This is an on-site role with no virtual or teletherapy options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to young learners, primarily focusing on PreK to 1st-grade caseload.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the communication needs of students.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with licensing standards and school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to pediatric speech therapy.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs or appropriate credentials for SLPAs.
- Experience in healthcare, school-based settings, or teletherapy is valued, though this position requires on-site service delivery.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred for SLP candidates.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting early childhood communication development.
