Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for an exciting contract opportunity with a well-established educational support organization serving Delaware County, PA. These positions involve working within an Early Intervention program that supports children in multiple local communities, including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston.
Located near Philadelphia, this role specifically supports an elementary education environment with flexible scheduling options. Candidates may be considered for full-time (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) or part-time work (minimum two days per week). Flexibility in the geographical area serviced is required, as the assignment aims to keep SLPs focused within one community zone to better meet local needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and consultations within the Early Intervention program.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports compliant with program standards.
- Adapt therapy approaches based on diverse student needs across targeted service areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school or early intervention setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with families.
- Flexibility to travel within and serve designated zones in Delaware County.
