Speech-Language Pathologists are sought for a contract position supporting early intervention services within a reputable educational organization in West Chester, PA. This opportunity involves working primarily with elementary-aged students across various locations including Upper Darby, Yeadon, Broomall, Lansdowne, and Aston.
Ideal candidates will hold valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and possess experience in school-based settings. Flexibility regarding service areas is essential to meet the needs of children in the specified zones.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in early intervention and elementary school students.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintaining accurate records and progress notes in compliance with program guidelines.
- Delivering services in a flexible manner to accommodate the geographic distribution of students.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school environments, preferably with early intervention programs.
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or part-time at a minimum of two days per week.
- Willingness to serve multiple regional zones with adaptability to changing caseloads.
This position offers a schedule of 35 hours per week with flexibility for part-time candidates interested in a minimum of two days per week.
