Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience with school-aged children, especially in K-8 settings
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and staff collaboration
- Offer ongoing support and resources to classroom teachers and families
