This position seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Bessemer, AL. The role is a contract-based Clinical School Year (CSY) opportunity with a start date as soon as possible and continuation through May 2026. The SLP will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, serving students across all K-12 grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques as appropriate to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain all required documentation and comply with state and local education regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Alabama.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or teletherapy settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is a plus.
