Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy | California
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in K-12 education. This role involves delivering telepractice and in-person speech therapy services within a school setting, supporting students across all grade levels. The position commences as soon as possible and extends through June 11, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments tailored to the needs of K-12 students
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Delivering therapy services to address a variety of communication disorders, both remotely and on-site
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Preferred qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience providing speech-language services in educational settings
- Proficiency in telepractice methodologies and technologies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
