A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support in a K-12 school setting located in Seymour, IN. This role involves assisting onsite SLPs with their caseload, working two days per week throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with onsite speech-language pathologists to manage and support student caseloads.
- Delivering telepractice and/or in-person speech-language therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Supporting compliance with state and federal guidelines related to speech-language pathology services in schools.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience providing speech-language services in educational settings, particularly in K-12 schools.
- Familiarity with telepractice methods and technologies for speech therapy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families.
This position requires commitment for the duration of the school year, working consistently two days per week. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to student communication development while providing vital support to a busy SLP team.
