Virtual Speech Therapy in IL
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing onsite services to a PreK–4th grade school in Hoopeston, IL. This position supports students through direct speech-language therapy and teletherapy as needed, delivering targeted interventions to foster communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and provide individualized therapy to students from PreK through 4th grade.
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate communication goals across the curriculum.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and comply with state and district regulations.
- Participate in meetings and consult with families regarding therapeutic strategies and student progress.
- Deliver teletherapy services when necessary to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active state licensure and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) endorsement.
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt therapy for both onsite and teletherapy settings.
- Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and progress monitoring techniques.
