Virtual SLP Needed for Colorado School District!
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a virtual capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly from home while making a significant impact on the lives of your students.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
- Administering standardized tests, observing clients, and collecting information from families and caregivers to determine the nature and severity of the disorder.
- Setting goals and objectives that address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
- Conducting therapy sessions individually or in groups to work on improving speech and language skills.
- Implementing therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve communication skills, such as articulation exercises, language drills, and voice therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC license (for the state you live in, and if applicable, the in state you’re applying for as well)
- MUST hold a DCE in Colorado to work in a school setting.
- 2+ years of experience in school-based settings.
- Proficient in technology and able to pass a tech screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
