Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in Nebraska
Our non-profit organization is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve children with complex communication needs, including those with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and autism. The SLP will implement individualized therapy programs, train families and staff in AAC, and collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team. This is a meaningful opportunity for clinicians passionate about advocacy and inclusive care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to provide the best care possible
- Keep detailed records of student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Nebraska SLP license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

We are seeking a school-based SLP to focus on students in special education classrooms who require intensive support for speech and language. The therapist will work closely with behavior specialists and instructional aides to develop functional communication strategies, support AAC use, and document student progress. Experience in life skills programs or alternative curriculums is a strong asset.
