Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Taylor, MI
A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide specialized support within educational settings. These positions focus on delivering individualized therapy services in elementary Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classrooms and at the high school level. Located in Taylor, MI, this role is ideal for SLPs holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or with school-based certification seeking hands-on experience in dynamic school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Provide direct speech-language intervention within elementary ASD classrooms and to high school students.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or current school-based SLP certification.
- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or in school settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs.
