A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Renton, WA.
This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students in an elementary school setting, helping them improve communication skills essential for academic success and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate actively in ESY program planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Certification or licensure specifically in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract ESY setting.
