Position: School Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: East Aurora, IL
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district team serving students in elementary and early childhood settings. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity where you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication skills for academic and social success.

Placement will be aligned with your strengths, experience, and interest areas, providing a meaningful and rewarding work experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Adjust therapy techniques based on student needs and progress

Work Environment

  • Onsite position within a school setting
  • Caseload will be determined and tailored to your expertise and preferences

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.00 to $60.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
