School Speech Language Pathologist - Stockton, California
A school-based speech-language pathologist is needed to provide comprehensive services for students from Pre-K through 8th grade at an elementary school setting. This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, with flexible start dates available—either ASAP or January for new graduates. The role offers full-time hours but part-time candidates will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Pre-K to 8th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals into daily learning.
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school policies.
- Utilize SLPA assistance to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required; Clinical Fellows are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of speech-language development and disorders in children.
- Experience working in a school environment is preferred.
- Ability to manage a PreK-8 caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
