A healthcare organization in Houston, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to K-12 students with mild to moderate speech delays. This contract position is open to new graduates and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to address mild to moderate speech delays across kindergarten to 12th grade
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in educational settings

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Provide direct speech therapy interventions targeting mild to moderate speech delays
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
  • Document services in compliance with school policies and professional standards
  • Participate in professional development and mentorship offered during the contract period
