A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Smyrna, DE, serving K-12 students within a dynamic school environment. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026, offering a structured Monday to Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week). The role requires an active Delaware SLP license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). Please note that Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered at this time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across various grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify and address speech and language needs
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in student meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Collect and monitor data to assess student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware licensure and certification as an SLP
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Proficiency with Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to provide on-site services preferred; hybrid arrangements may be considered
