Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure (California) or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY) welcome
- Experience providing therapy in school settings preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and timelines
- Provide guidance to staff and training as needed on speech and language development
