Speech Therapist in Ridgeway, VA
A full-semester, contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Ridgeway, VA. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct, in-person speech and language services to a diverse student caseload within an educational environment.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload capped at 68 students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. Services are primarily delivered in group settings, with select individual sessions tailored to student needs. Currently, there are no vocal rehabilitation services required in this role, allowing for focused speech and language intervention.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Proven ability to work effectively with K-12 students in a school environment
- Experience designing and implementing group and individual speech-language therapy sessions
