A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Poulsbo, WA, covering a maternity leave assignment from January 5th to March 27th, 2026. This contract position involves providing in-person services within an active school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload primarily at an elementary school, serving 27 students.
- Participate in the early childhood Child Find team to identify and support young children with speech or language needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations.
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs in both individual and group settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings from K-12.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
