Speech and Language Pathologist in Beaverton, OR
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 school setting in Beaverton, OR. This full-time contract position offers a chance to work on-site within a dynamic educational environment focused on helping children develop their communication skills across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse communication needs across grades K-12
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments and collecting data to monitor student progress and inform treatment plans
- Participating in team meetings and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Oregon state license issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills conducive to working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Location:
- On-site position based in Beaverton, Oregon (Portland metropolitan area)
This contract role is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 11, 2025, serving students across an assigned caseload within the district. Specific caseload details and number of schools assigned will be determined upon placement.
