School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Plano, Texas
Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite contract role is designed for a dedicated clinician excited to make a meaningful difference in a school setting.
In this position, you’ll serve a manageable caseload of approximately 40 elementary-aged students, providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and collaborative IEP support. You’ll work side-by-side with special education staff, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to foster each student’s growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings, especially with elementary students
- Direct experience developing and supporting IEP goals
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (required)
- Excellent communication and case documentation skills
- Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
- Organizational abilities to balance caseload and paperwork efficiently
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
What you’ll do:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop personalized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to student needs
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation for IEP meetings and compliance
- Serve as a key member of student support teams, providing expertise and recommendations
- Partner with educators and families to maximize student outcomes
This assignment runs from August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a 40-hour, full-time weekly schedule.
