Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Plano, Texas

Make a lasting impact as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position supports both an elementary school and an adjacent Head Start program, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 30 students. Work on-site in a full-time capacity (40 hours per week), providing essential speech and language services to young learners from varied backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Texas SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
- Prior school-based experience highly valued
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations for students in elementary and Head Start settings
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services as part of each student's IEP team
- Develop and implement IEP goals, track student progress, and maintain rigorous documentation
- Collaborate effectively with special education professionals, teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Serve as a resource and advocate for bilingual language development within the school community
